The cricket world is mourning the loss of former England and Glamorgan batter and former ECB boss, Colin Morris, who passed away at the age of 93.

Morris was a prolific run-scorer during his playing days, representing England in 3 Test matches and 27 One Day Internationals. He also had a successful career with Glamorgan, scoring over 20,000 runs for the county.

After retiring as a player, Morris became involved in cricket administration and served as the Chief Executive of the ECB from 1999 to 2004.

He was known for his passion for the game and his dedication to promoting and advancing the sport of cricket in England.

Colin Morris will be remembered as a true ambassador for cricket and his contributions to the game will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Colin Morris.
